Our way of thinking
At LUDWIG Kanzleiverbund, all employees are actively involved in shaping the company.

Participation is encouraged and is possible at any time in both the professional and organizational areas of the firm. This principle has been anchored in the LUDWIG quality management system since 2004.

Performance and trust

The corporate goals of the group of law firms are defined each year at the strategy meeting by the managers and worked out in advance in the law firm teams with the employees. Ideas and suggestions for improvement from employees are evaluated and implemented on a weekly basis.

Each employee is also involved in areas of responsibility within the firm, such as specialist areas of expertise, further development of quality management processes, health and knowledge management. In addition, employees are regularly surveyed in order to determine their job satisfaction or to determine the need for important law firm topics (e.g. setting up a home office offer and organizing the health day).

The prerequisite for this employee participation is an always transparent and continuous flow of information and communication, which is ensured through weekly office meetings and regular staff appraisals.

The success of the law firm group rests on many shoulders and would not be possible without a team of committed and motivated employees. In addition to individual goals, personal needs in cooperation and support for professional training and further education are discussed in the annual development and annual appraisals.

In particular, trainees are supported during the initial phase of their transition from the school-based learning system to the work system as well as during their integration into the law firm. All team leaders benefit from leadership seminars in which they receive individual support in developing their leadership skills.

The atmosphere of collegiality and well-being is also created by the free daily supply of water, coffee, tea and fruit for all employees as well as targeted health-promoting activities such as internal health days with specialist lectures and measurements or training sessions with the LUDWIG running group. True to the firm's motto “We celebrate success together”, a variety of team events, staff parties and firm outings are organized throughout the year.

Together with our managers and employees, we have developed a firm philosophy that guides us in our daily work with each other and in cooperation with our clients and business partners. This philosophy comprises a total of 8 principles, which are set out in various guiding principles:
